Who are we?

We are a small first school of 132 pupils (Reception to Year 4) plus a bustling 52 place nursery situated in the Northumberland coastal town of Amble, also known as ‘The Friendliest Port’. We are located approximately 30 miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne.

We are very lucky to be situated very close to the beach and are lucky to have large grounds which include a good sized field, two playgrounds, quiet/garden picnic area, adventure playground and our own school allotment.

Our accommodation consists of a large Early Years Unit, Key Stage 1 Unit, Key Stage 2 Unit and a library that are all accessible from our main hall. We also have a modern ICT suite  which is always very busy! We have an on-site Children’s Centre that provides a range of courses.

On leaving Amble Links, most of our pupils move on to James Calvert Spence College (fomerly Amble Middle School and Coquet High School).

We would be delighted to show you around and pride ourselves on the warm welcome we give to visitors. We look forward to meeting you.
