Religious Education (RE)

Religious Education
Our RE Co-ordinator is Miss Wendy Morton

The children know that in Religious Education we learn about the beliefs and lives of different people and cultures around the world.

At Amble Links First School we teach Religious Education (RE) on a weekly basis and we use a scheme of work to support delivery of RE.  In Key Stage 1 RE teaching is broadly Christian but takes into account the principles and practices of other principal religions represented in Britain and around the world, in Key Stage 2 the children build on their learning of Christianity and explore other world religions, the principles and practices. Pupils take part in a daily act of Collective Worship.
